Avio presents the AMOI Project at the NSE Expoforum

Avio is participating in this year’s NSE - the New Space Economy Expoforum - taking place from December 16 to 18, 2024, at the Fiera di Roma. This three-day event is dedicated to fostering and expanding collaborations within the space sector, emphasizing the growing importance of the Space Economy for Italy. On Wednesday, December 18, at 12:20 PM, we will unveil the AMOI project - Advanced Materials Open Infrastructure. The presentation will be delivered by Dr. Simone Gaeta, Head of Grants and Funding, with the participation of Pierluigi Sanna, Deputy Mayor of the Metropolitan City of Rome. The AMOI project represents a major investment in the establishment of a cutting-edge research infrastructure in the Colleferro area. This facility will focus on the development of advanced technologies and systems for additive manufacturing processes. Designed as an open research hub, it will be accessible to Avio for its R&D activities as well as to companies, startups, research centers, and universities.
